Matrimony is the Sacrament made by Jesus Christ to sanctify the lawful union of a Christian man and a Christian woman
Requirements for marriage in the Catholic Church include:
- Being baptized Christians
- Freely entering into the sacrament
- Attend marriage preparation classes
- Being free from mortal sin at the time of marriage
